Dog Walking

Does your dog have more energy than you know what to do with? Do they get restless if they stay inside all day? Hire an experienced dog walker to get them that exercise and outdoor adventuring that they need!

Layni’s Critter Care offers 30, 45, and 60 minute dog walks. There is no set distance for walks; I choose to follow the dog’s pace and take their cues regarding how fast and how far they want to go. Long hikes in the woods and meandering strolls up and down a single block sniffing every flower are both equally fun!

Layni’s Critter Care works with most dogs, including:

  • Reactive dogs

  • Elderly dogs

  • Disabled dogs

  • Anxious dogs

  • Puppies

I am currently NOT accepting the following:

  • Dogs 70lbs or over

  • Dogs who have not have their rabies vaccines

  • Dogs with a history of violence against other dogs or people.

  • Price vary based on a multitude of reasons such as the number of pet(s), the pets’ temperament, and the duration of the walk.

    Dog walks start at $25/walk.

  • Layni’s Critter Care is currently a one person operation, and due to my own physical limitations I choose to only take dogs under 70lbs. This keeps both me and the pet safe.

  • Yes! I accept dogs with poor leash etiquette. I have extensive experience with pets who pull on the leash and/or are aggressive on walks.

    I have strategies to work on leash etiquette, but I am not a professional trainer and currently do not offer training.
